We are excited to share an incredible educational travel opportunity for our 5th-grade students and their families! We are excited to offer an educational trip to Historic Boston in Summer 2027 in partnership with EF Explore America. This opportunity is available only to students currently in 5th grade.

We are looking for one or two families willing to help keep our school’s Lost & Found organized every other week throughout the school year. Volunteers will sort through items, organize clothing and belongings by type, and keep the space tidy and easy for families to search

Our Parent Information Night will be held on Wednesday, August 26th from 5:00 to 6:15 p.m. This event is for parents/guardians only. There are two sessions. Each session covers the same information, so parents with multiple students can attend. 

Picture Day is scheduled for August 26th! Students are required to wear formal dress uniforms for picture day. Parents can purchase a French Toast school tie for their student to wear to all formal dress events.

Windsor Charter Academy partners with the Weld County Food Bank to provide a limited number of food items to students in need over the weekend. Students will receive items discreetly in their backpacks on Fridays. This program will start in the next few weeks.

We’d like to extend a sincere thank-you to Pickaroon Animal Hospital for providing a barbecue lunch to our staff during Teacher Appreciation Week! We truly appreciate your support and commitment to our educators!

The last day of school is May 21st, and students will be released early that day. To help ensure a smooth and efficient dismissal process, students picked up on Logistics Drive will be dismissed first at 11:25 a.m., followed by the start of Driveline and the release of walkers at 11:30 a.m.

Last weekend, our third- and fourth-grade students competed in their Battle of the Books Competition! Our outstanding 3rd- and 4th-grade teams competed against five other schools and delivered strong finishes!

Windsor Charter Academy’s fifth-grade Battle of the Books team earned a first-place victory at the final Battle of the Books competition!

The elementary school will be selling made-from-scratch brownies for $1.00 during lunch on Friday, May 8th. Students are asked to bring cash!

We are excited to host Field Day on May 18th! This year’s theme is World Cup Soccer, and it will be a fun end-of-year tradition for our students.

We are excited to celebrate our 5th-grade students as they make their way to middle school!  Our 5th Grade Continuation Ceremony will take place on Wednesday, May 20th, at 8:25 a.m. 

We are excited to celebrate our Kindergarten students as they finish their first year of school!  Our Kindergarten Continuation Ceremony will take place on Monday, May 11th, at 8:30 a.m.

First-grade students will celebrate what they have learned the week of May 4th from 1:30 to 2:00 p.m. at their Living Animal Wax Museum! To support their learning as expository writers, 1st graders will present information about a living animal they have researched and written about.
