After another wonderful growing season, it’s time to prepare our school garden for the winter months! We invite you to join us for one of our upcoming Garden Clean-Up Days to help ensure the garden is ready for spring planting.

Windsor Charter Academy families may be affected by delays in SNAP benefits due to the federal government shutdown. Our school and local community offer a variety of resources to help ensure that every child has access to healthy meals.

Join us for Parents’ Night Out, hosted by Windsor Charter Academy’s National Honor Society! Please take the opportunity to get some holiday shopping done or enjoy a well-deserved date night while our high school students provide fun and safe entertainment for your children.

To celebrate our third-grade Core Knowledge Unit, we will host a Third Grade Roman Day Celebration to deepen understanding of Roman times. On November 21st, families are invited to join us for our classroom celebrations from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. We will have hands-on learning, games, and activities!

Join us on November 20th at 12:10 p.m. as we celebrate the second-grade Core Knowledge Unit with Immigration Day! Our students will engage in hands-on activities that bring history to life, simulating the journey of immigrants coming to America through Ellis Island.

As a reminder, the school bell rings at 8:00 a.m. Students arriving after 8:00 a.m. will be considered tardy.

Our 4th-grade classes will soon begin an age-appropriate health lesson focused on puberty. This is a new topic for 4th-grade students and is very different from the more comprehensive Changing Bodies Class taught in 5th grade.

Join us on November 11th at 8:30 a.m. in the ES Gymnasium to celebrate our veterans! We are excited to honor those who have served our country.

Timberline Gymnastics, across the street from our elementary school, is offering Windsor Charter Academy families an opportunity to participate in the X-League Spring Season.

Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade Honor Roll Assembly for the first quarter will be held on Friday, November 14th, at 8:30 a.m. in the ES Gymnasium. Parents/guardians of students who earned honor roll recognition will receive an email inviting them to the assembly.
