Applications Open for STEM Research Program
Applications for the Winter Cohort of the STEM Research Program are now open! Led by researchers at MIT, Caltech, and Stanford, the STEM Research Program introduces ambitious students to the cutting edge of their scientific field of interest. Students will work 1-on-1 with a PhD mentor and create an independent research project.
Volunteer Today! Help the WCA Vex Robotics Club Host The Firebird Feud
We need your support to make our home VEX Robotics tournament, The Firebird Feud, a success on Saturday, January 24th. Witness high-energy competition among 32 VEX teams battling it out in this year's game, Push Back.

High School Movie Day
The Windsor Charter Academy High School Student Council is hosting a Movie Day on December 17th from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., directly after final exams. Students have the opportunity to watch Elf. Free popcorn will be served, and concessions will be available for purchase. We look forward to seeing our students there!

Last week, I was honored and thrilled to be named the new high school principal! Many Windsor Charter Academy families may already know me from my five years serving as Assistant Principal with Hannah Mancina. Hannah opened our high school ten years ago and has done a phenomenal job creating a school with top academic standards, caring, highly qualified teachers and staff, and exceptional student support.

Windsor Charter Academy Early College High School is part of the NASA Community College network. Our students are invited to participate in the first-ever Presidential AI Challenge, a national competition where middle and high school students use artificial intelligence to solve real-world problems.

MS/HS Veterans Day Assembly
Windsor Charter Academy welcomes families and veterans to our Veterans Day Assembly on November 11th in the Firebird Facility Gym! The assembly will begin at 2:15 p.m., but visitor check-in will start at 1:45 p.m. at the south door of the Firebird Facility. We are excited to honor those who have served our country!
