We are excited to introduce a new electronic check-in system for visitors to our school buildings! This new system will enhance safety and security, as well as be a more efficient check-in process for visitors.

Windsor Charter Academy’s Food Service Department believes scratch-made meals positively impact the health of all children! Across our campuses, we are committed to creating fresh, tasty, and nutritious meals through a farm-to-school model.

Each year, Windsor Charter Academy awards deserving graduating seniors with the Share the Light Firebird Scholarship or the John Bartmann Memorial Scholarship. We are asking our families and the greater Firebird community to donate funds towards these scholarships. The more we raise, the more scholarships we can award!

Windsor Charter Academy is excited to offer our students a variety of summer sports camps! Many of our summer camps are open to the public.

On May 22nd, all 9th, 10th, and 11th-grade students will turn in their school-issued Chromebook and charger after their last final exam.  Students with an off-block during Period 4 will turn in their device and charger to the Media Center after their last final.

The Town of Windsor is hosting its annual Windsor Volunteer Fair on Saturday, April 26th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Students can explore various ways to get involved in the Windsor community and meet local non-profit and volunteer-based organizations. Click here to learn more!

We are looking forward to Firebird Fest on May 21st! Freshmen, sophomores, and juniors are invited to join us after school from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to enjoy games, inflatable slides, obstacle courses, a dunk tank, yearbook signing, and other events! All high school students need to be picked up by 1:00 p.m.

During Firebird Fest, we serve lunch to all middle and high school teachers and staff! We will purchase sandwiches for all staff members, but are requesting our families to donate side items or drinks.

Teacher Appreciation Week is from May 5th through 9th. On Monday, April 29th, our High School PTC will sponsor snack boxes for teachers. Please sign up here if you would like to volunteer to help provide items for this event.

In March, the WCA Middle School Gym transformed into a vibrant concert hall as high school students presented their Spring Concert! The event featured outstanding performances from both the band and choir, showcasing a rich variety of musical styles.
