The holiday season is here, and so are our annual preparations for the 12 Days of Christmas! Throughout December, our administration and PTC teams at each school will celebrate the final 12 days of the semester.

The Windsor Charter Academy Boys’ and Girls’ Basketball programs are dedicated to developing strong athletes and strong leaders who represent our school with pride, discipline, and integrity—on and off the court. To continue providing high-quality opportunities for our players, we’re launching a fundraising initiative to support our teams.

We are thrilled to share that Firebird spirit wear is now available for purchase at King Soopers and will be available at Walgreens in the coming weeks! Families can shop a growing selection of Firebird gear, including shirts, sweatshirts, socks, hats, water bottles, and more.

The Town of Windsor advised Windsor Charter Academy of upcoming work on Garden Drive near the railroad tracks. Starting next week, during our Fall Break, the medians in that area will be replaced. The project is expected to extend a few days into the first week of December.

Windsor Charter Academy is giving families an opportunity to donate gifts to those in need this holiday season! From November 17th through December 18th, a Giving Tree will be placed in the front office of each school, featuring gift tags with various donation ideas.

The holidays are quickly approaching! While this can be an exciting time of year, it can also bring significant financial stress. If your family is interested in receiving assistance with meals and/or gifts, please reach out to your student’s school counselor.

Please join us on Thursday, December 11th, for our MS/HS Winter Concert & Art Show held in the Firebird Facility. Middle school will perform starting at 5:30 p.m., followed by high school starting at 6:30 p.m.

Middle school students will have review sessions and take their final exams from December 11th through 18th. On December 17th and 18th, students will take final exams and will be released early at 11:09 a.m.

All current 8th-grade students and their families are invited to attend our High School Parent Information Meeting on Tuesday, December 9th, at 3:45 p.m. in the Firebird Facility!

Windsor Charter Academy Early College High School is part of the NASA Community College network. Our students are invited to participate in the first-ever Presidential AI Challenge, a national competition where middle and high school students use artificial intelligence to solve real-world problems.

It’s hard to believe the school year is already nearing the halfway mark! As we move through the coming weeks, this is a great time to pause and reflect on how we can support our students’ overall wellness — not only academically, but also socially and emotionally.

On November 19th and 20th, we will be on a testing schedule to allow our middle school students to take their iReady benchmark test.  Testing will take place from 8:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.
