Friday Firebird Awards

Each week, one student from each grade level is nominated by our teachers to receive a Friday Firebird Award. This award is given to students who set a wonderful example by showing the 8 Keys of Excellence!

Ella C., a 6th grader, was recognized as a Firebird Award winner this week! Addy Y., a fellow student, shared, "Ella is always willing to meet new students and is not afraid to help others. She says hello to me in the hall, and I always see her catching up with her teachers and making sure she stays on task with her studies. Windsor Charter Academy is lucky to have you as a Firebird, Ella!"


Sawyer H., a 7th grader, was recognized as a Firebird Award winner this week! Tynlee S., a fellow student, shared, "Sawyer never fails to light up someone's day and is always there to help whenever needed. He takes every moment to show others kindness and is always enthusiastic. Sawyer doesn't worry about the future but instead decides to think about what is happening in the present. He doesn't need to worry about fitting in with certain groups because he is friends with everyone. Sawyer stays on task at school and enjoys having time to talk to others. We are lucky to have you, Sawyer!"


Will F., an 8th grader, was recognized as a Firebird Award winner this week! Eden G., a fellow student, shared, "Will always tries his best in all his classes, even when they get difficult. He walks into class with a positive mindset and a determination to help his peers. Overall, Will is dedicated and a great role model for other students. Thank you for being an awesome Firebird, Will!"


Sara A., an 8th grader, was recognized as a Firebird Award winner this week! Cason C., a fellow student, shared, "Sara shows amazing qualities such as ‘Speaking With Good Purpose’ and ‘This Is It!’ She is always willing to help students with math homework during lunch despite that time being for her. She has a positive attitude and works to see the best in people, giving everyone the chance they deserve. She is a great example of what it means to be a Firebird. Congratulations, Sara !"
