Firebird Award Winners

Each week, our teachers nominate students to receive a Friday Firebird Award. This award is given to students who set a wonderful example by demonstrating The Eight Keys of Excellence!

Denali C., a 6th grader, was recognized as a Firebird Award winner! Mr. Kluth shared, "Denali is an incredibly hard worker and she takes ‘Ownership’ of her own learning, always advocates for herself, and tries her best every day! Great job, Denali!"


Skyler F., a 7th grader, was recognized as a Firebird Award winner! Mr. Kluth shared, "Skyler has been killing it in STEM class this year. She gives her all on every assignment, is a fast learner, and is committed to success! Thank you for demonstrating The Eight Keys of Excellence, Skyler!"


Major B., a 7th grader, was recognized as a Firebird Award winner! Mx. Madigent shared, "Major demonstrates ‘Failure Leads to Success,’ because he knows that every single day is a new opportunity to do his best. Major has shown strong focus and dedication this year in STEM class, demonstrating through classwork and participation that he is here to take ‘Ownership’ of his journey at Windsor Charter Academy. Thank you for the hard work you have been putting in this year, Major!"


Julia D., an 8th grader, was recognized as a Firebird Award winner! Mx. Madigent shared, "In STEM class, Julia is consistently dedicated to taking and reviewing her notes, contributing thoughtfully to class discussions, and approaching every problem and scenario presented with outstanding critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Her obvious dedication to learning in every class is a credit to her character and a positive reflection of what we strive toward every day at Windsor Charter Academy.
