Each week, our teachers nominate students to receive a Friday Firebird Award. This award is given to students who set a wonderful example by demonstrating The Eight Keys of Excellence!
Garrett B., a 6th grader, was recognized as a Firebird Award winner! Mrs. Seilbach shared, "Garrett was such a big help during the dance! He took it upon himself to sweep the gym to clean up all of the decorations that had fallen on the floor. Thank you for taking care of our school, Garrett!"
Adelyn D., a 6th grader, was recognized as a Firebird Award winner! Mrs. Unruh shared, "Adelyn consistently brightens the room with her smile and positive attitude. She eagerly joins any game and treats every peer with kindness and respect. Not only is she a motivating presence during activities, but she also gives her best effort while lifting up those around her. Great job, Adelyn!"
Autumn Y., a 7th grader, was recognized as a Firebird Award winner! Ms. Ellis shared, "Autumn shows up every day in P.E. ready to participate and demonstrate The 8 Keys of Excellence. She consistently shows ‘Flexibility’ and makes the most of every lesson. She is willing to partner with anyone, and everyone enjoys partnering with her. Thank you, Autumn, for living The 8 Keys every day in P.E.!"
Riley F., a 7th grader, was recognized as a Firebird Award winner! Mrs. Unruh shared, "Riley has a contagious positive attitude! She is always smiling, encourages her teammates, and jumps into every activity with 100% effort. She is a great leader in class because of how she treats and cares for other students. Great job, Riley!"
Preston T., an 8th grader, was recognized as a Firebird Award winner! Ms. Ellis shared, "Preston brings great energy and joy to the gym every day. He comes to P.E. with a positive attitude and helps make every activity more fun for everyone around him. His enthusiasm, encouragement for others, and willingness to participate brighten the gym and create a welcoming environment for his classmates. Thank you, Preston, for bringing positivity to P.E.!"
Olive N, an 8th grader, was recognized as a Firebird Award winner! Ms. Ellis shared, "Olive consistently focuses on improving her athletic skills in P.E. Olive comes to class ready to learn, practice, and challenge herself in every activity. She works hard to develop her skills, listens carefully to feedback, and always gives her best effort.
