Booster Club

Windsor Charter Academy’s Booster Club works to support all sports and is focused on establishing and maintaining a first-class athletic program. Booster Club Members:

  • Facilitate positive recognition for student-athlete achievement. 

  • Help to provide student-athletes with the equipment and facilities that will increase their probability of success.

  • Collaborate with WCA Administration and coaches to identify specific areas where supplemental funds are needed. 

  • Determine appropriate fundraising activities and execute such fundraisers in conjunction with school interests. 

  • Assist with planning and production of designated projects. 

  • Promote sports programs and awareness within WCA that increases student interest and parental involvement.

  • Solicit support from the surrounding community and area businesses through a tiered sponsorship program.

  • Consider other school fundraisers to ensure no duplication and maximize fundraiser potential for programming.

Booster Club Membership

Booster Club Members support our school, our athletic programs, and our athletes! Booster Club membership options are:

  • $40 Annual Membership

    • Provides support for Firebird athletes, Athletic Awards Night, scholarships, sports equipment, athletic trainers, game-time music, and more!

  • $100 Annual Membership

    • Provides support for everything listed in the $40 annual membership!

    • Includes a NFHS Network Subscription to access live-streamed home games from the WCA gymnasium and some games played at partner schools! Provides an online streaming option to those who may not be able to make a game or for friends and family who live far away. Subscription activation codes are received within 10 days of subscription.

All Booster Club members receive a free Firebird decal!

Booster Club Meetings

  • Monthly Meetings: The Booster Club generally meets on the third Tuesday of each month. The meeting is generally held from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the High School Commons.

  • Annual Meeting: The annual meeting of members is generally held the second Wednesday in May.
