Join us for Windsor Charter Academy’s largest flag football event yet! On Friday, October 17th, all Firebird Families are invited to gather at the MS/HS field to cheer on our middle school flag football teams.

This fall, WCA High School Theatre presents Clue, a fast-paced, comedic whodunit inspired by the classic board game and cult-favorite film. When a mysterious dinner party ends in murder, six quirky guests race against time (and each other) to uncover the killer before it's too late!

At Windsor Charter Academy, we celebrate College Week across our schools to promote our career and college-going culture! On October 7th, 8th, and 9th, students are invited to dress up in college gear to show their spirit! Elementary and middle school students should wear dress code-compliant bottoms with their college spirit wear.

The first Monday in October is recognized as World Bullying Prevention Day, a day dedicated to raising awareness and taking action to prevent bullying. A “defender” is someone who witnesses bullying and takes action to help the student being bullied.

We are thrilled to invite our K-12 families to this year's Trunk-or-Treat! Families are invited to join us for an afternoon of frightful fun, fabulous costumes, and safe trick-or-treating!

Get ready, Firebirds! From September 29th through October 3rd, Windsor Charter Academy students in grades K–12 will join together to celebrate Homecoming Week! Students can celebrate in style with our themed spirit days, giving our Firebird Family a fun way to show their school pride. On Friday, October 3rd, all Firebird Families are invited to join us for a high school soccer and volleyball game, food trucks, and our first "Picnic on the Pitch." We are excited to see you there!

Each year, Colorado state public schools participate in the October Student Count as required by the Colorado Department of Education. One student in attendance on October 1st translates to more than $11,000 in state funding.

Families were mailed their student’s Colorado Measures of Academic Success (CMAS) data for spring 2025. These results provide valuable insight into your child’s progress and help guide our instructional planning for the school year.

The 2025-26 School Calendar is available on our website.  Although the calendar itself has not changed, we would like to clarify some details regarding the half-day schedules in December and May.

If your student would like to purchase extra entrées or à la carte items, please ensure there are sufficient funds in their meal account.

Due to popular demand, Windsor Charter Academy is hosting two more sessions of the seminar entitled “The Impact of Social Media on Youth.” The seminar explores how social media influences young people’s mental health, social interactions, and behavior. Providing statistics from the best-selling book The Anxious Generation, this presentation examines how social media affects age groups and genders differently.
