We want to share an important update regarding school tomorrow. Due to the forecasted significant winds and the potential for widespread power outages, all Windsor Charter Academy schools—elementary, middle, and high school—will have an early release on Wednesday, December 17, 2025. The release schedule will be as follows:
Elementary School: Dismissal will begin at 11:30 a.m.
Please note that lunch will not be served due to the early release.
Students picked up on Logistics Drive will be dismissed first at 11:25 a.m., followed by the start of Driveline and the release of walkers at 11:30 a.m. Please do not pick up your child from the front office.
After-school care from ABC Bright School-Age Centers is also cancelled. All ABC students will be dismissed via Driveline procedures. Please see the communication from ABC for further information.
Middle School: Students will be dismissed at 11:09 a.m., as previously planned.
High School: Students will be dismissed at 11:04 a.m., as previously planned.
All after-school activities for the day—including practices, clubs, and events—will be canceled. The Executive Board meeting will still occur in the MS Media Center.
This decision was made with the safety of our students, staff, and families as our top priority. If power outages last longer than expected or additional updates are needed, we will continue to keep families informed. Thank you for your understanding and flexibility!
