Last weekend, our third- and fourth-grade students competed in their Battle of the Books Competition! Our outstanding 3rd- and 4th-grade teams competed against five other schools and delivered strong finishes!

Windsor Charter Academy’s very own Kate D., a fifth-grade student, was recently featured in TIME for Kids, a publication of TIME Magazine.

Windsor Charter Academy’s fifth-grade Battle of the Books team earned a first-place victory at the final Battle of the Books competition!

The elementary school will be selling made-from-scratch brownies for $1.00 during lunch on Friday, May 8th. Students are asked to bring cash!

We are excited to celebrate our Kindergarten students as they finish their first year of school!  Our Kindergarten Continuation Ceremony will take place on Monday, May 11th, at 8:30 a.m.

First-grade students will celebrate what they have learned the week of May 4th from 1:30 to 2:00 p.m. at their Living Animal Wax Museum! To support their learning as expository writers, 1st graders will present information about a living animal they have researched and written about.

Fifth-grade students have been learning about the Renaissance over the past several weeks! On April 30th at 8:30 a.m., students will celebrate their learning with a fun Core Knowledge event. During the Renaissance Fair, students will rotate through various activities and dress in Renaissance-inspired costumes

Families are cordially invited to join the 2nd-grade team in their classrooms from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. April 24th, as we celebrate our youngest authors and all of their hard work this year! Students will share their writing throughout the year while enjoying cookies and lemonade.

As the end of the year approaches, please be sure your student has returned their library books!

We are excited to invite students to WCA’s Middle School Cheerleading Tryouts! Athletes will have the opportunity to showcase their skills and join our dynamic cheerleading team. Middle school cheerleaders participate in sideline cheers at games, team bonding, summer camps, and more!

To help keep traffic flowing safely and efficiently, please avoid parking directly in front of the school during morning drop-off (7:30–8:00 a.m.) and afternoon pick-up (3:00–3:30 p.m.). Thank you for your cooperation in keeping traffic flowing smoothly and safely for all students and families!

Our fourth-grade students are excited to share all they have learned during their medieval unit at their Core Knowledge Celebration! On April 24th, families are invited to join us for our classroom celebrations from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Students will dress up in medieval clothing and experience games and food from the time period.

Kindergarten students have been studying the seven continents of the world! We will celebrate our studies with a fun event featuring activities that showcase the culture of each continent. Guests are invited to attend our classroom celebrations from 8:15 to 10:15 a.m. in the classrooms and cafeteria.
