To help keep traffic flowing safely and efficiently, please avoid parking directly in front of the school during morning drop-off (7:30–8:00 a.m.) and afternoon pick-up (3:00–3:30 p.m.). Thank you for your cooperation in keeping traffic flowing smoothly and safely for all students and families!

Windsor Charter Academy will host our CMAS Testing Kickoff on April 3rd to help energize and encourage our students as they begin state testing. We are excited to welcome several student-athletes from Colorado State University to help us celebrate and motivate our Firebirds. Students are invited to show their spirit by wearing Colorado State University gear that day!

On Tuesday, March 17th, students are welcome to celebrate St Patrick’s Day by wearing green! Students may wear green or a St. Patrick's Day top with normal dress code bottoms (not jeans). In addition, St. Patrick’s Day shirts must adhere to dress code guidelines.

Families are cordially invited to join our kindergarten classes from 8:15 to 8:35 a.m. from March 16th to 20th to celebrate our youngest authors! Students will be showing off their most valued pieces of writing from their kindergarten year at Windsor Charter Academy.

We are currently seeking a coach for our Intramural Soccer Program! This club is open to 4th- and 5th-grade students and will run every Monday and Wednesday from April 1st through April 29th (no session on April 27th), from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., at the elementary school field.

Our fourth-grade students are ready to celebrate all they have learned in the Core Knowledge Unit - Changing Earth! The Changing Earth Celebration will be held on March 20th at 8:30 a.m. in our 4th-grade classrooms.

We are excited to start planning our classrooms for the next school year! Windsor Charter Academy teachers and administrators are responsible for placing all children within a classroom learning environment that best suits their academic, social, and behavioral needs.

Windsor Charter Academy is proud to celebrate Austin S., a fifth-grade Firebird who has a passion for racing Legend Cars! Austin recently won the Silver State Road Course Series in Las Vegas in the Legend Car Young Lion division—a major milestone made even more impressive by the competition

On Wednesday, March 4th, we invite students and staff to come to school dressed as their favorite book character! Please join in on the festivities by dressing as a true book character. Students should be able to name the book in which their character appears.

First-grade students have been learning about Mexican culture as part of their unit on modern civilizations! On February 20th, parents are invited to join us for our classroom celebrations from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.

It’s time for our Science Fair! Fifth-grade students will be presenting Science Fair projects on Friday, February 27th. Guests are invited to view the displays from 8:40 to 9:10 a.m. in the elementary school cafeteria.

The 5th Grade Changing Bodies Class will be offered March 16th through 20th from 2:10 to 3:00 p.m. each day. This class helps both boys and girls understand the physical and emotional changes they experience during puberty and acknowledge these changes as a normal part of growth and development. 

As a reminder, the school bell rings at 8:00 a.m. Students arriving after 8:00 a.m. will be considered tardy.
