Audition & Registration Details
All elementary school students are invited to try out for our school talent show! We invite our best music, variety, and voice acts to participate!
Talent Show Categories
MUSIC: Includes any instrument or combination of instruments and voice.
VARIETY: Includes movement acts, dance, comedy, gymnastics, martial arts, magic, etc.
VOICE: Includes singers performing on a recorded track.
Details:
This is an elementary school talent show. Costumes, lyrics, and actions must be school-appropriate.
Performance time is limited to 2 minutes.
Solos and groups are welcome. Each group member must complete a registration and permission form. Participants may only perform in one number.
Auditions: Participants must attend auditions on Thursday, April 16, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., to perform in the Talent Show on Thursday, April 30th. Staff members will provide feedback during auditions to prepare participants for the performance. Feedback will be given in the following areas: preparation, stage presence, age appropriateness, audience appeal, and creativity.
Details: Participants are responsible for providing their own show-ready music. If you have a digital version of your song (MP3/MP4 or a YouTube link), please send it to amber.sommerfeld@windsorcharteracademy.org. Singers must use a karaoke-type track so the original voice cannot be heard. Show-ready music must be emailed or turned in to Mrs. Sommerfeld by Friday, April 10, 2026.

Talent Show: Thursday, April 30th, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM in the ES gym. The Talent Show will be divided into three 1-hour Acts, beginning at 5:00, 6:00, and 7:00 p.m. Performers should arrive 15 minutes before their assigned Act.
