Get ready for a fun-filled High School Spirit Night on May 8th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.! All current WCA 8th–12th graders are invited to attend.

High school students will have review sessions for final exams beginning May 14th. Students will need to be picked up on May 20th by 1:00 p.m. after Firebird Fest. On May 21st, the last day of school, students will be released early at 11:30 a.m.

During Firebird Fest, we serve lunch to all middle and high school teachers and staff. We will purchase sandwiches for all staff members, but we are requesting our families to donate side items or drinks.

We are looking forward to Firebird Fest on May 20th! Freshmen, sophomores, and juniors are invited to join us after school from 11:15 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to enjoy games, inflatable slides, obstacle courses, a dunk tank, yearbook signing, and more! All high school students need to be picked up by 1:00 p.m.

If you are planning to participate in the Aims Commencement Ceremony on May 15th, please be sure to register for your tickets using the email that was sent to your Aims student email account.

Please join us on Thursday, May 7th, for the final MS/HS Music Concert & Art Show of the season, held in the Firebird Facility. 

Thank you to all of our parents and families who helped make After Prom a success! We had approximately 175 high school students attend this event this year, and we were able to distribute over 100 prizes to these students through the generosity of our WCA families - WE APPRECIATE YOU!

Teacher Appreciation Week is from May 4th through 8th. This year, our High School PTC, administrative team, and student groups, including Student Council and National Honor Society, have planned to support our teachers through various activities and gifts.

On May 21st, all 9th, 10th, and 11th-grade students will turn in their school-issued Chromebooks and chargers after their last final exam.  Students with an off-block during Period 3 will turn in their device and charger to the Media Center after their last final.

We are proud to announce a new scholarship opportunity for our graduating seniors, in honor of Clinton Percy. The Clinton Percy Memorial Scholarship is awarded annually to a graduating high school senior who demonstrates an outstanding commitment to both academics and athletics and plans to pursue a degree in a STEM-related field.
