Our 4th-grade classes will soon begin an age-appropriate health lesson focused on puberty. This is a new topic for 4th-grade students and differs significantly from the more comprehensive Changing Bodies Class taught in 5th grade. This lesson helps boys and girls understand the physical and emotional changes they experience during puberty and acknowledges these changes as a normal part of growth and development.
A permission form with additional details about the lesson will be sent home electronically by your child’s teacher.
Families who would like to learn more are invited to attend a Parent Information Night on November 12th from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Elementary School Art Room.
