Inclement Weather Dismissal
The administration will monitor weather alerts and updates for severe weather. If severe weather conditions at dismissal time make it difficult for students to wait at their regular pick-up location (i.e., heavy rain, lightning, blizzard conditions), we will initiate the inclement weather dismissal plan. Parents will be notified through email about the dismissal plan.
Administration will monitor weather alerts and provide updates for severe weather.
High school drivers may be dismissed early to avoid the weather. Middle school students will be permitted to leave with their high school sibling.
If there is severe weather, students will be dismissed from the front entrance only. Parents will be notified through ParentSquare that the inclement weather procedure will be used for dismissal.
Once parents arrive on campus they will text their student, the student will show the text to their teacher and be dismissed though the front of the building.
If your student does not have a cell phone, parents will text (970) 896-9581 when they have arrived on campus and student will be dismissed through the front of the building.
Students who are walkers will not be released to walk in inclement weather until it is determined to be safe.
