Parking Permits for Student Drivers

All student drivers are required to complete a High School Parking Permit Registration Form. Students will be issued a parking permit once the registration form is approved. A parking permit grants a student the privilege of parking on campus in the student section of the WCA parking lot. For questions, please reach out to Cody Mason, Head of School Security.

All student vehicles parked in the WCA student parking lot must be registered with the school. If a student violates any State of Colorado law or regulation and/or WCA regulation, loss of parking privileges may result.

Completing an application does not guarantee that a parking permit will be issued; however, all applications will be considered. Having a parking permit does not guarantee a space available. With the exception of purchased senior spots, parking spaces are on a first-come, first-served basis for registered vehicles.

Parking Lot Regulations

  1. The school has the right to regulate the privileges of student parking and driving of vehicles on campus. Depending on the seriousness of the offense, a student may have their parking privileges suspended or revoked without progressing through the offense process below.

  2. The parking permit must be in clear view with the permit number attached to the rearview mirror of the vehicle. Parking is strictly limited to student parking areas.

  3. It is recommended that students keep their vehicles locked at all times. Windsor Charter Academy cannot accept responsibility for vehicle damage or for lost or stolen items.

  4. If at any time a student begins driving a different vehicle, the student must transfer the parking permit to the new vehicle. The student will also need to update the front office of a vehicle change.

  5. Students must not give or loan parking permits to other drivers. This will result in a loss of their current or future parking privileges for up to four weeks.

  6. Lost/stolen permits must be replaced for $5.00. Without a valid parking permit the student does not have any parking privileges. Click here to pay a Parking Permit Replacement Fee.

  7. Students parking in non-student parking areas or parking without a parking permit will receive an office referral and disciplinary consequences from administration.

  8. The speed limit on campus is 10 MPH.

  9. If the student is involved in a traffic accident on Windsor Charter Academy property, the student must contact a parent or guardian on guidance of what to do next. Windsor Charter Academy will not be responsible for exchanging drivers information or calling the police.
