Join us for a fun, hands-on experience where food, creativity, and nature come together! In this club, students will build valuable skills in both the kitchen and the garden. They will explore the farm-to-table journey—from planting and harvesting to preparing fresh, delicious recipes using ingredients from our organic garden.

The Town of Windsor Parks, Recreation, and Culture Department is hosting a fall basketball camp for elementary and middle school students! As community partners, Windsor Charter Academy invites our families to participate in this event.

Fall Parent-Teacher Conferences are approaching! These conferences will be held on Thursday, October 9th, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the MS gymnasium. Conferences are an open house format, so there may be a wait time to see teachers.

We are thrilled to have students back in the building and to be welcoming our new Firebirds through our “lunch bunch” gatherings! These informal lunch sessions have been a wonderful way for students to build connections with their peers, get to know Mrs. Boyes, and ask questions as they settle into the school year.

Vision and Hearing Screenings will be conducted on Wednesday, October 8th, for all 7th-grade students. To accurately test your child's vision, please ensure they bring their glasses to school on the day of screening.

Hello, and welcome back! I hope that everyone had a relaxing summer break. For those families who are new to Windsor Charter Academy, I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Mrs. Boyes, and I am the middle school counselor.

Students may be presented with a coupon for a Firebird Dress Day when celebrating their birthday, earning Honor Roll status, scoring well on standardized assessments, or demonstrating the 8 Keys of Excellence in a superior way.

It's hard to believe another school year is coming to a close! Transitions to a new grade level can be exciting yet challenging for students, parents, and educators alike. Preparing students for grade transitions early and providing support and resources during this time can help ease the anxiety of the transition for both students and their families, ultimately promoting student success.

On Thursday, May 22nd, in celebration of the last day of school, students may wear Firebird Dress.

Middle school students will complete their iReady testing and final exams in May. Please note that 6th & 7th graders will be released at 11:09 a.m. on May 22nd, and 8th graders will not have school on that day. All lockers will be cleaned out on Wednesday, May 21st.

On May 21st (8th grade only) and May 22nd (6th & 7th grades), students will turn in their school-issued Chromebook and charger after their last final exam. Each Chromebook has a blue and silver inventory tag with an asset number.

We are looking forward to the Firebird Fest on May 21st! All middle school students will enjoy lunch, games, inflatable slides, obstacle courses, a dunk tank, yearbook signing, and other events! 

On Wednesday, May 21st, our 8th-grade class will be celebrating the conclusion of middle school with a Continuation Ceremony followed by a dinner and dance. It has been a tradition for 6th and 7th-grade families to help with this so 8th-grade families can attend the ceremony.

We look forward to celebrating our 8th grade students on Wednesday, May 21st! Our 8th Grade Continuation Ceremony will begin at 5:30 p.m. Students should arrive at 4:45 p.m. and the doors will open to the public at 5:00 p.m.
