Students may be presented with a coupon for a Firebird Dress Day when celebrating their birthday, earning Honor Roll status, scoring well on standardized assessments, or demonstrating The 8 Keys of Excellence in a superior way. These are not “free dress” days. Students who participate in a Firebird Dress Day are to abide by the student handbook regarding decency.
What is acceptable on “Firebird Dress” days?
Tops that adhere to the general guidelines
A sweatshirt or hoodie with a logo bigger than a credit card
Athletic shorts that come to the top of the knees
Sweatpants or athletic joggers
Jeans without significant rips/tears
Baseball hats
