Homecoming Week is almost here! This year, Windsor Charter Academy will celebrate Homecoming from September 28th through October 3rd, with a full slate of activities planned for our Firebirds.

Monday: USA Day
Wear your most patriotic colors!
Tuesday: Rainforest Rampage
Wednesday: Color Wars
9th - Grey; 10th - Blue; 11th - Green; 12th - White
There will be a Pep Assembly during ELO, and the Homecoming Court will be announced!
Thursday: White Out/White Lies
The Powder Puff Game will be held during ELO. Parents are invited to watch the Powder Puff game at 12:40 p.m. Visitors must have a background check on file; if you don't, please check in at the main office. We love having parents on campus!
Spirit Night featuring food trucks, soccer, and volleyball.
Boys’ Varsity Soccer Game @ 4:00 p.m.
Girls’ Varsity Volleyball Game @ 6:30 p.m.
Friday: Boots and Beats!
WCA will have a Day of Service at various community locations.
We will be on an assembly schedule for the Peach Fuzz Game at 2:00 p.m.
Homecoming Dance
The Homecoming Dance will be held on Saturday, October 3rd from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. in the HS Gymnasium in the Firebird Facility. All high school students are invited to attend. Students should plan to dress up for the occasion!
Tickets: $15 per ticket, cash only
Shoes: Please note that no hard-soled shoes will be allowed on the gym floors, so students will be asked to remove their shoes if they are not suitable for the floor.
Guest Form: Student guests will be required to submit a guest form to the HS front office for administrator approval by October 1st.
Volunteers Needed: We're looking for 4 parent volunteers to help with coat check. Please use the sign-up if you're able to help!
Homecoming Safety Reminder
The high school administration and safety team will be utilizing breathalyzers to ensure a safe and fun environment for all students at this year's Homecoming Dance. Breathalyzer testing will be requested only for students exhibiting signs of impairment, and we will exercise careful judgment and discretion in making these determinations. Students who refuse testing or test positive for alcohol consumption will need to be picked up by a parent or guardian. They will not be permitted to leave with other students or drive themselves. Our goal is to ensure everyone can enjoy a safe and memorable Homecoming celebration!
