Are you looking for a creative summer activity for your student? Windsor Charter Academy is hosting Pottery Camps this summer for middle and high school students! If you are a beginner, intermediate, or advanced in clay and want to learn more, this class is for you. Maybe you've already had pottery instruction and want to improve, or maybe you've never touched clay and want to learn what it's all about. Regardless of experience, we have a wheel with your name on it!
There are two general ways to work with clay. One is called handbuilding. The other one is "throwing on the wheel." Students can choose one or both classes.
There are three camp dates to choose from, depending on your grade level and what you want to learn.
June 1, 2, 3, 4, 8 - This is a handbuilding class for MIDDLE SCHOOL and HIGH SCHOOL students. Max 12 students
July 13, 14, 15, 16, 20 - This is a throwing class for MIDDLE SCHOOL students only. Max 5 students
July 20, 21, 22, 23, 27 - This is a throwing class for HIGH SCHOOL students only. Max 5 students
