Dress Code Reminders

As the weather warms up, we want to remind all Windsor Charter Academy families that our dress code is in effect every day through the end of the school year. Students are responsible for knowing and consistently following the dress code. A few key reminders include no tank tops, appropriate skirt and shorts lengths, no sweatpants, and no exposed midriffs. Full dress code details are on page 28 of the WCA Parent & Student Handbook.

When a dress code concern is identified, a teacher will send the student to the office with a Dress Code Slip, which will be stamped and documented in their discipline record. The student will carry the slip for the remainder of the day. In some cases, the student may be required to change clothes before being permitted to attend class. Students with repeated violations may be asked to change into school-provided clothing or sent home and face additional behavioral consequences.

We appreciate your help in reinforcing these expectations at home — a quick check before heading out the door goes a long way!
