We've recently been made aware that several Windsor Charter Academy students have been seen walking on or near the railroad tracks after school. Please take a moment to speak with your student about railroad safety:
Railroad tracks and railroad property are off-limits and dangerous.
Trains can approach quickly and quietly—often faster than they appear.
Trains cannot stop quickly, even in an emergency.
Walking on tracks is considered trespassing.
We know students sometimes look for shortcuts or gathering spots, but railroad tracks pose serious and potentially life-threatening risks. We want every student to make it home safely.
