Windsor Charter Academy’s Middle School Dance will be held on Friday, February 27th, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.!  Tickets will be sold for $5.00 (cash only).  Students will receive popcorn and a water bottle with their admission fee, and other snacks/drinks will be available for $1.00 (cash only).

The Windsor Charter Academy Student Ambassadors will be selling Chuck-a-Pucks at the Colorado Eagles hockey game on March 17th! A portion of Chuck-a-Puck sales—along with $5 from every ticket purchased through our link—will directly support Student Ambassador initiatives, including the spring dance, canned food drive, Make-A-Wish efforts, and more.

Ms. Cross is thrilled to announce our upcoming trip to Thailand in Summer 2027 - your student is invited! This life-changing experience will help students build confidence, independence, and a global perspective.

On Tuesday, January 13th, our 8th-grade families attended our High School Registration Night Webinar. If you were unable to attend the meeting, we encourage you to watch the recording. Lots of important information was shared, and the attendees asked several great questions!

It’s hard to believe the school year is already nearing the halfway mark! As we move through the coming weeks, this is a great time to pause and reflect on how we can support our students’ overall wellness — not only academically, but also socially and emotionally.

Spring Parent-Teacher Conferences are approaching! These conferences will be held on Thursday, February 12th, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the middle school gymnasium. Conferences are an open-house format.

Congratulations to our 2nd Quarter Honor Roll recipients.  These students will be recognized at school and receive a coupon for a “Firebird Dress Day”, to be used on Tuesday, January 27th. 

Please be on the lookout for your child’s iReady assessment data. We have completed the iReady benchmark assessments, and the results will be sent home with your student this week.

Eighth-grade students will begin registering for high school courses in January! Families are invited to attend our High School Registration Night Webinar to learn more about the registration process. The webinar will be held via Zoom on Tuesday, January 13th at 5:30 p.m. Registration is required, so please register here.

The Town of Windsor Parks, Recreation, and Culture Department is hosting a Winter Basketball Camp for elementary- and middle-school students! As community partners, Windsor Charter Academy invites our families to participate in this event.

Students are invited to dress up in holiday wear on December 17th and 18th!

Please join us on Thursday, December 11th, for our MS/HS Winter Concert & Art Show held in the Firebird Facility. Middle school will perform starting at 5:30 p.m., followed by high school starting at 6:30 p.m.

Middle school students will have review sessions and take their final exams from December 11th through 18th. On December 17th and 18th, students will take final exams and will be released early at 11:09 a.m.

All current 8th-grade students and their families are invited to attend our High School Parent Information Meeting on Tuesday, December 9th, at 3:45 p.m. in the Firebird Facility!

Windsor Charter Academy Early College High School is part of the NASA Community College network. Our students are invited to participate in the first-ever Presidential AI Challenge, a national competition where middle and high school students use artificial intelligence to solve real-world problems.

On November 19th and 20th, we will be on a testing schedule to allow our middle school students to take their iReady benchmark test.  Testing will take place from 8:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.

Windsor Charter Academy welcomes families and veterans to our Veterans Day Assembly on November 11th in the Firebird Facility Gym! The assembly will begin at 2:15 p.m., but visitor check-in will start at 1:45 p.m. at the south door of the Firebird Facility. We are excited to honor those who have served our country!
