The Windsor Charter Academy Boys’ Volleyball teams opened their home season in March with strong performances against Greeley Central and Rocky Mountain Prep Smart!
On March 11th, the varsity team hosted Greeley Central in a competitive four-set match. The Firebirds took the first set 25–18, dropped the second 15–25, then responded with a narrow 25–23 win in the third after a back-and-forth battle. They carried that momentum into the fourth set, closing out the match 25–19 to secure the victory. The JV team faced a tough matchup, falling in two sets (20–25, 15–25) despite a competitive start and consistent effort throughout.
On March 16th, both teams returned to the court with a strong showing against Rocky Mountain Prep Smart. The JV team controlled the match from the start, earning straight-set wins of 25–9 and 25–15. The varsity team followed with a dominant performance, building an early lead in set one and winning 25–8. After a more competitive second set, they held off Rocky Mountain for a 25–18 victory, then closed out the match in set three with another 25–18 win to complete the 3–0 sweep.
Through their first two home matches, the Firebirds have shown strong early-season momentum on both the varsity and JV levels!
