HS Girls' Soccer Team Open Season with Dominant Wins

The Windsor Charter Academy High School Girls’ Varsity Soccer team is off to an impressive start this season! The Firebirds opened the season with dominant wins over Estes Park (10–0) and Twin Peaks Classical Academy (6–1), followed by a hard-fought 2–2 tie against Roosevelt High School. The team continued its momentum with victories over Dawson School (3–0), Wellington High School (3–1), and Campion Academy (9–0). After facing a tough loss to Longmont, the Firebirds bounced back with a close and exciting 3–2 win over Liberty Common.

With an overall record of 6–1–1, the team currently stands 1–1 in league play and is ranked 4th in the 3A/2A Patriot League—an excellent position as they continue through the season.

The Firebirds are back in action today, April 16th, taking on Frontier Academy at 4:00 p.m., followed by a Saturday matchup against Berthoud High School at 11:00 a.m. We look forward to cheering them on as they continue their strong season! Go Firebirds!
