Windsor Charter Academy is proud to offer a Summer Internship Program to our high school students! This is an excellent opportunity for students to connect with employers, gain real-world experience, and earn high school credit over the summer. Internships are also excellent experiences to list on college and job applications.
Previous interns have worked in law offices, doctors' and dentists' offices, engineering firms, auto repair centers, art centers, the City of Windsor, and more! This is an opportunity for all students, regardless of whether they go to college, trade school, the workforce, or the military after graduation.
Expectations:
Participants must be 16 by May 1st and be able to provide transportation to their workplace.
Participants must be able to work 5-10 hours a week from June 1st through August 1st for a total of 40 hours. Accommodations can be made around pre-arranged summer vacations.
Internship opportunities are both paid and unpaid.
WCA will coordinate employment opportunities. Students must interview for positions at the job site.
If your student is interested in learning more about the Summer Internship Program, please have them complete this form by Friday, March 13th.
