We will be celebrating Halloween at school on Friday, October 30th! Students are invited to wear costumes to school, but they must follow the guidelines below. This is not a Free Dress Day, so if students are not in costume, they should follow our regular dress code guidelines.
Students must follow regular dress code rules.
No masks, canes, sticks, or weapon-like items of any kind are allowed.
No fake blood or other substances that could spill or cause a mess are allowed.
No clowns.
Students may not wear anything suggestive or provocative in nature. Underwear as outerwear is not allowed.
Nothing that promotes the use of illegal substances or activities, is derogatory or disrespectful, or portrays violence.
Face paint may not be excessive, as students must be able to be recognized.
Students must show respect to other students by not touching, defacing, or insulting other students' costumes.
Students must show respect for others by not choosing costumes that are insensitive and/or offensive to the diverse backgrounds represented by others at our school.
