The Windsor Charter Academy Varsity Girls’ Volleyball Team hosted the Berthoud High School Spartans on October 27th for Senior Night, its final regular-season home game. The team and fans honored seniors Adalyn S., Bailee B., and Sophia S. for everything they have contributed to our volleyball team!
The Firebirds came out strong, taking the first set 25-12. Berthoud answered in a hard-fought second set, edging our team 25-23 to even the match at 1-1. The final two sets stayed close, but the Spartans held on to win 25-19 and 25-22, taking the match 3-1.
The Firebirds now stand at 16-7 on the season, and that work has earned them a spot in the regional playoffs! As the 15th seed, Windsor Charter Academy will compete in Region 10 alongside Platte Valley High School and Bennet High School. Good luck at regionals, Firebirds!
