Windsor Charter Academy's Girls’ Varsity Volleyball Team played rival Severance High School and won a hard-fought match, defeating the Silver Nights 3-1. The Firebirds came out strong, taking the first two sets 25-23 and 25-19, and looked well on their way to a straight-set sweep. Severance had other plans, storming back to claim the third set 25-23 and forcing Windsor to finish the job. The Firebirds did exactly that, closing out the match with a decisive 25-18 win in the fourth set to secure the 3-1 victory.
Congratulations to our Firebirds on the win, and thank you to the families and students who came out to cheer them on! Our student section was on fire that night!
