The Windsor Charter Academy varsity boys’ soccer team faced the Fort Morgan Mustangs on October 15th and fell 1–0 in a tight, defensive match.
The Firebirds fought the entire match, and goalkeeper Wesley S. kept the game within reach with 10 saves. The difference came on a single turnover in the Firebirds’ half of the field, which the Mustangs converted into the game’s only goal. Despite their effort, the Firebirds were not able to find an equalizer.
The loss moves the Firebirds’ record to 9–3–1, and the team is already looking ahead. With the State Playoffs approaching in the coming weeks, every remaining game counts.
Come out and support the Firebirds at their next home game! Let’s fill the sidelines!
