On September 9th, the Windsor Charter Academy Boys’ Varsity soccer team faced off in a regular-season match against the Estes Park Bobcats. In the first half, the Firebirds dominated the field, starting their scoring streak with a great goal by senior Antonio P., who eventually went on to score a hat trick. Others that scored in the first half were sophomores Bently C., Sam W., and Gio C.C., junior Miles S., and freshman Chase M. The Firebirds ended the first half without conceding a goal, leading 8-0.
Going into the second half, the Firebirds slowed down their play, focusing on making passes. Senior Antonio M.P. scored his 4th goal of the match, and senior Zev G. shot and scored the final goal of the game, ending the match against the Estes Park Bobcats in a mercy-rule, 10-0 victory.
