The Homecoming Dance will be held on Saturday, October 4th, from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. in the HS Gymnasium in the Firebird Facility. All high school students are invited to attend the Homecoming Dance! Student guests will be required to submit a Guest Form to the HS office for administrator approval by October 1st.

We will be holding our Parent-Teacher Conferences on Thursday, October 9th, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the MS/HS Gymnasium. These conferences are held in an open-house format, so there may be a wait time to see teachers

Jostens visited campus on September 9th to discuss and distribute graduation order forms for all graduates. Please check with your senior to ensure they received an order packet.

Vision and Hearing Screenings will be conducted on Wednesday, October 8th, for all 9th-grade students. To accurately test your child's vision, please ensure they bring their glasses to school on the day of screening.

Registration for the PSAT/NMSQT opened on Friday, August 29th. Juniors should register for this optional exam if they are seeking National Merit Scholarship recognition and/or a National Merit Scholarship. This is the ONLY PSAT exam that will qualify students for National Merit Recognition.  

Extended Learning Opportunities (ELO) will be held daily, and all 9th through 11th-grade students will be assigned to an ELO class, with attendance being taken. Teachers will draft students into their classroom for additional teaching or enrichment on a rotating basis.

Here's your chance to learn how to make your college dreams a reality! Families are invited to come to the College and Financial Aid Showcase. It's a free, half-day event created to help you and your family get the facts you need to build your confidence about college planning and financial aid.

Homecoming Week is right around the corner! Homecoming Week runs from September 29th through October 3rd, with many activities to celebrate our Firebirds!

If a student has a missing assignment in Infinite Campus, parents/guardians will receive an email every Monday with a list of missing assignments.

Jostens will be here on September 9th for a mandatory senior class meeting during the ELO block to discuss and distribute graduation order forms as well as sophomore class ring order forms.

Do you have experience in Speech & Debate as a student, coach, or judge? Windsor Charter Academy is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Coach to help guide our talented Firebirds! This position pays a $1,500 stipend.

All freshmen, sophomores, and juniors will take the PSAT/SAT practice test on Friday, August 22nd. Once testing is complete, the school day will be over. There will be no school for seniors on that day.

If parents and students are looking into the process of applying to colleges and scholarships, we wanted to let you know that the Boettcher Foundation will be hosting a series of webinars on “Everything You Need to Know About Scholarships.”

All high school parents are invited to a meeting on August 27th, at 6:00 p.m. in Classroom #184. During this meeting, the Virtual College Counselors, Sawyer Earwood and Jessica Chermak, will discuss valuable information about the college application process.

Skillman Photography will be at the MS/HS next Tuesday, August 26th, for Picture Day. Please ensure that your high school student is following the High School Dress Code.

Just a reminder that we will have our Senior Timeline meeting tonight, August 21st, at 5:00 p.m. via this Zoom link. This will be a short meeting to go over important dates and deadlines during your student’s senior year and to answer any questions you may have.

This summer, all incoming 9th-12th grade students' Google accounts will remain active. This will allow students to have access to StudentSquare and receive high school communications specifically regarding athletics.

On May 22nd, all 9th, 10th, and 11th-grade students will turn in their school-issued Chromebook and charger after their last final exam.  Students with an off-block during Period 4 will turn in their device and charger to the Media Center after their last final.
