Vision & Hearing Screenings will be conducted on Tuesday, October 1st, for all 9th-grade students. In order to accurately test your child's vision, please make sure they have their glasses with them at school on this day.

Poudre High School will host its 39th Annual Northern Colorado Out-of-State College Fair on Tuesday, September 24th, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Please see the flyer for registration information!

The Speech and Debate team is kicking off again this year! If your student is interested in joining and missed the informational meeting on September 11th, please have them talk to Dr. Innocenti about participating in this up-and-coming team! Practices will begin on September 17th and will be held every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.

Jostens will be at our school on September 19th from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. (during HS lunch) to collect the graduation and sophomore class ring order forms. Orders may also be placed online through the Jostens website.

The Speech and Debate team is kicking off again this year! A student informational meeting will be held during lunch on Wednesday, September 11th, from 1:15 to 2:00 p.m. in classroom #189. Practices will begin on September 17th and will be held every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.

If a student has a missing assignment in Infinite Campus, parents/guardians will receive an email every Monday with a list of missing assignments. Teachers mark any assignment that is not turned in at the due date as missing, even if a student is absent.

The MS/HS AVID Site Team will be hosting an Ice Cream Social and Open House for all MS/HS AVID elective students and their parents/siblings! The event will be held in the HS Commons (Firebird Facility) from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 25th.

Jostens will be here on September 11th for our Senior Class Meeting during the ELO block to discuss and distribute graduation order forms as well as sophomore class ring order forms. Jostens will be back to collect the order forms on September 19th from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m.

We are excited to invite the families of our new inductees to the National Honor Society Induction Ceremony on September 10th from 2:00 to 3:21 p.m. at the Firebird Facility. Join us as we celebrate the achievements of these exceptional students who have shown remarkable scholarship, leadership, service, and character.

Registration for the PSAT/NMSQT opened on Tuesday, August 27, 2024. Students should register for this optional exam if they are seeking National Merit Scholarship recognition and/or a National Merit Scholarship. This is the ONLY PSAT exam that will qualify students for the National Merit Recognition.  

Our Sources of Strength (SOS) team is preparing to celebrate a year of spreading positivity across our high school! If you would like to contribute funds or donations of food items such as fruit snacks, popcorn, Jolly Ranchers, and sugar-free drinks like water or soda water, please contact Mrs. Seneca.

Academic Support for high school students will be offered weekly on Tuesdays from 3:30 to 4:15 p.m. throughout the school year. During Academic Support, all teachers are in the building and available to support students.

Over the past few years, our IT department has observed a consistent rise in the number of damaged Chromebooks. Last year alone, they replaced over 100 screens due to user-related damage. The two most common causes of damage are carrying Chromebooks by their screens and dropping them.

Juniors will take the PSAT/SAT practice test on Friday, August 23rd. Once testing is complete, the school day will be over. There will be no school for seniors on Friday.

Join us on Tuesday, August 27th, at 5:30 p.m. in room 259 for the VEX Robotics Informational Meeting to kick off the 2024-2025 season! This mandatory meeting is for all new and returning team members and parents to discuss important updates, registration details, practice schedules, and team expectations for the upcoming season.

College Peak Advisors is offering a free college planning workshop at the Clearview Library in Windsor on Sunday, August 25th, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.

The University of Northern Colorado, in partnership with TEACH Colorado, is offering a free virtual information session on Wednesday, September 11th, at 4:00 p.m. Learn more about how to become a teacher in one of UNC’s supportive programs.

High school yearbooks are here! On May 8th, yearbooks will be distributed before school, during lunch, and after school. A limited number of books may be available for purchase on distribution day.

On May 22nd, all 9th, 10th, and 11th-grade students will turn in their school-issued Chromebook and charger after their last final exam. Students with an off-block during Period 4 will turn in their device and charger to the Media Center after their last final. Each Chromebook has a blue and silver inventory tag with an asset number.

The STS Foundation Student Exchange is looking for a host family at Windsor Charter Academy for the 2024-2025 school year to host a 15-year-old student, Sergio, from Spain. He is a high school student arriving this summer, loves to play basketball, and describes himself as polite, sporty, and studious.
