From December 1st through 15th, the National Honor Society will setup a Giving tree in the high school hallways! The Giving Tree will have gift tags that can be taken by students and their families.

Windsor Charter Academy offers SAT testing about once a month at our school. There are not many testing sites in northern Colorado so it is a benefit for our students who want to take the SAT again to have it in a building they are comfortable in with staff they know.

Per IRS regulations, Aims Community College has to mail a W9-S IRS form to all students who do not have a Social Security Number (SSN) on file with the college for this tax year. Please note that the college is required by the IRS to do this and that no students can be excluded.

High school students will have review sessions and take their final exams from December 12th through 16th. On December 14th & 15th, students will take final exams and will be released early at 11:11 a.m.

Did you know Windsor Charter Academy started a Speech & Debate Team? Speech & Debate is a combination of public speaking, acting, and debating with others in a competitive manner.

The University of Northern Colorado (UNC) Math Contest is open to any middle or high school student interested in math! The first round of questions is sent to Windsor Charter Academy from UNC and administered in-house at WCA during a 2-day window. This is scheduled for Thursday, November 3rd or Friday, November 4th.

Windsor Charter Academy welcomes all families and visitors to our Veterans Day Assembly on November 11th at 2:00 p.m.! To ensure the safety of our schools, we will require all visitors attending the Veterans Day Assembly to have a background check on file.

In celebration of Halloween, high school students can participate in a costume contest among grade levels on Friday, October 28th. The grade level with the most votes for best costumes will be awarded a Free Dress Day Pass for Wednesday, November 2nd.

On Monday, October 17th, Virtual College Counselors presented a webinar that was specifically tailored to our 9th and 10th grade students and their families. Unfortunately, we experienced technical difficulties and some families were unable to access the webinar.

Colorado State University will be holding a one-day youth business and innovation event on October 21st!

College Week will be celebrated the week of October 17-21, 2022, which coincides with Colorado Free Application Days. All of our seniors will be submitting their Common Applications to Colorado colleges. It's an exciting time for seniors!

Colorado State University is hosting Engineering Exploration Day on Saturday, October 29th! High school students interested in engineering can meet with student design teams, check out laboratory demonstrations, and learn about engineering careers at this free event!

Seniors have done an incredible job painting their reserved parking spaces this year! Please come out and see all of the beautiful artwork that our seniors have created in our parking lot.

Vision and Hearing Screenings will be conducted for 9th graders on Thursday, October 20th. In order to accurately test your student's vision, please make sure they have their glasses with them at school on this upcoming date.
