The 5th Grade Changing Bodies Class will be offered from March 18th to 22nd from 2:10 to 3:00 p.m. daily. This class helps boys and girls understand the physical and emotional changes they experience during puberty and acknowledge these changes as a normal part of growth and development. 

Many of our elementary school classrooms will celebrate Valentine’s Day on Wednesday, February 14th at 1:30 p.m. in their classrooms! We have a few reminders for our families.

Student Council’s 2nd-semester service project is to sell Valentine's Day Candy Grams! All proceeds from the candy gram sales will be donated to Children's Hospital Colorado. Families are invited to purchase a sucker for $1 for their students, friends, or teachers.

On Tuesday, January 30th, all students need to wear their formal dress uniform for class pictures. Our elementary school formal dress uniform consists of blue bottoms, a white dress shirt, and a school tie.

Second-grade students have been learning about famous Americans as part of the Core Knowledge unit! Students will share their bobblehead creations and an informational paragraph on the famous Americans they were assigned.

The countdown is on! This is the last week to guarantee your student gets a yearbook. We will order a few extra copies to sell at the end of the year. It is unlikely that a book will be available for your child if you don’t order a book by January 26th.

Valentine’s Day is Wednesday, February 14th! Students are allowed to wear red and pink for Valentine’s Day.

Our elementary school families are invited to attend Family Dance Night on February 9th! Please note that concessions will be available to purchase at this event.

Our 3rd-grade students are ready to celebrate all they have learned in their Core Knowledge Investigating Forces unit! Students will investigate how physical forces affect everyday objects. Forces including gravity and friction will be demonstrated in activities in the classroom, including car racing.

Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade Honor Roll Assembly for our 2nd quarter will be held on Friday, January 19th at 8:30 a.m. in the ES Gymnasium. Doors will open at 8:10 a.m. Parents of students who earned an honor roll recognition will receive an email inviting them to the assembly.

Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held in classrooms from January 29th through February 9th. Teachers will create Sign Up Genius Links and share them with parents.

All elementary school students are invited to tryout for our school talent show!  We invite our best music, variety, and voice acts to participate!

On Friday, our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students had the opportunity to hear from Jenn Dizmang, one of our local authors! Jenn Dizmang is the author of the Harry Hornacre book series. By inviting guest authors to our school, we hope to continue to inspire a culture of reading!

We are excited to celebrate the holidays with our students! Students will be able to wear holiday/festive wear on Wednesday, December 20th to celebrate our last day before winter break. We can’t wait to see all of their festive attire!

Believe it or not, it’s time to start thinking about middle school! All current 5th grade students and their families are invited to attend our Middle School Parent Information Webinar on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at 5:30 p.m. via Zoom.

On Saturday, December 16th from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Clearview Library District, Windsor Middle School students will be reading How the Grinch Stole Christmas as part of their school’s service project!
