QPR Suicide Prevention Certification provides basic-level suicide prevention information, outreach, and education that holds the same weight as a CPR certification. The presentation will also include a booklet, a tear-our reference card, and a nationally-recognized certification. Attendees will learn:

  • The scope of the problem

  • Facts vs. myths

  • Warning signs

  • To practice asking the suicide question

  • To persuade someone to get help

  • To refer a person for help and to local resources

Save Lives

Nationally, it is the fourth leading cause of death for men aged 35-54. Since 2001, the U.S, suicide rate has increased 31%.
