Does your student love to read? Battle of the Books fosters a culture of reading at our school! Battle of the Books is a fun, Family-Feud-style competition in which teams of students compete against peer schools to test their knowledge of a selection of books. We will read and practice throughout the year, culminating in a final competition in the spring.
The Clearview Library District assigns a book list consisting of eight books. Each student must read at least five books. Students who enjoy reading do well in this club!
Grade: Battle of the Books is open to 3rd, 4th, and 5th-grade students. Students must meet AR goals while in the club.
Reading List: 2025-26 Battle of the Books Book List
Please note that our school library has limited books on hand, so students may be responsible for obtaining the books on their own. The reading list will have links to purchase books. Students can also find the books at one of our local libraries. Please reserve your copies at the library early, as many Windsor schools are participating in this competition.
