Windsor Charter Academy’s health and administrative teams monitor our schools’ COVID-19 data on a daily basis. Since the start of the pandemic we have been committed to making mitigation decisions based on COVID-19 data in our schools.

Beginning on Monday, January 31st, only students who are present in the building will be marked present. Students at home for any reason will be marked absent.

We are in the process of enrolling our students for the 2022-2023 school year! We need each parent to fill out their child's enrollment information online. We ask all families to complete the WCA Returning Student Survey by Monday, January 17th.

On October 27, the State of Colorado launched I Matter, a program that provides up to three free counseling sessions for all Colorado youth.

Are you interested in getting your gift wrapping done AND supporting a good cause?! The Mu Alpha Theta High School Math Team will wrap your gifts for you! On Saturday, December 11th, drop off your gifts to the high school between 9:00 and 10:00 a.m. and then pick them up between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

The Windsor Charter Academy Boys’ Basketball Team is hosting its First Annual Cornhole Tournament! Join us on Saturday, January 29, 2022 for a fun-filled tournament to support our Firebirds!

The WCA Middle School Theater Club will host their first performance of the year! The fall musical is a modern-day telling of “The Grinch.” The musical - "The Grunch” - tells the story of Rudy Grunch, a grumpy middle schooler who always feels like an outsider.

Windsor Charter Academy will be participating in Colorado Gives Day! On Tuesday, December 7th, WCA families can be a part of a statewide movement to celebrate philanthropy through online giving. By making a donation to our school, you can join the thousands of Coloradoans on this day of giving!

The National Honor Society Homeward Alliance Committee is excited to present the Homeward Alliance Donation Drive!

On Monday, November 15th we will begin enrolling students for the 2022-2023 school year. New incoming siblings of current WCA students and new incoming children of staff members will be the first to be enrolled. Enrollment will occur for all grade levels

Windsor Charter Academy is embarking on a new and exciting campaign to build a new Firebird Facility! Our proposed facility includes STEM and home economics classrooms, a high school commons area, a weight room, a competitive gymnasium and soccer field, and expanded parking.

Windsor Charter Academy has created a Booster Club to support our school, our athletic programs, and our Firebird athletes! The Booster Club works to support all sports and is focused on establishing and maintaining a first-class athletic program at our schools.

At Windsor Charter Academy, we celebrate College Week across our schools to promote our career and college-going culture. From November 2nd through November 5th, students will be engaged in a variety of exciting activities. Students are also invited to dress up each day to show their spirit!

Meadow Gold, our school milk supplier, has informed us that one of the machines in their milk production facility is broken. We have not received an estimated time on when that will be fixed.

Windsor Charter Academy is excited to host our 2021 Fall Festival! This event, formerly known as Trunk-or-Treat will be held indoors this year (hence, no trunks). =)

As approved by the Windsor Charter Academy Executive Board of Directors at Tuesday’s Board meeting, when riding on a bus or a passenger van, all students will be required to wear a mask. This requirement will begin to be enforced on Monday, September 27th.

The Windsor Charter Academy High School Cross Country team is hosting a Family Fun Run for all of our Firebird families. If your family is interested in participating in the Family Fun Fun Run, registration is required.
