Last week, I was honored and thrilled to be named the new high school principal! Many Windsor Charter Academy families may already know me from my five years serving as Assistant Principal with Hannah Mancina. Hannah opened our high school ten years ago and has done a phenomenal job creating a school with top academic standards, caring, highly qualified teachers and staff, and exceptional student support. We are a top Colorado high school, and I recognize that I have big shoes to fill to maintain the excellence she has created.
Before joining Windsor Charter Academy, I spent nearly two decades in K-12 education, including roles as a math teacher, teacher leader, researcher, and high school administrator. I am also currently pursuing my doctorate in educational leadership at Colorado State University, which continues to deepen my commitment to creating equitable and excellent learning environments for all students. Whether your child is bound for a community college or university, a trade school, the military, or the workforce, Windsor Charter Academy will provide the support and resources they need to succeed. While I am proud of maintaining our 100% graduation rate, what matters most is ensuring that every single student receives personalized support to reach their unique potential and goals.
My approach to leadership centers on open communication and collaboration. Strong partnerships between schools, families, and students are essential to student success. I encourage you to reach out with questions, concerns, or ideas. Whether it's through email, phone calls, or face-to-face conversations, I'm committed to being accessible and responsive to our school community. I'm excited about this new chapter and look forward to working alongside you to make this an outstanding year for our students!
