We are looking forward to Firebird Fest on May 21st! Freshmen, sophomores, and juniors are invited to join us after school from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to enjoy games, inflatable slides, obstacle courses, a dunk tank, yearbook signing, and other events! All high school students need to be picked up by 1:00 p.m.

We would like to take a moment to thank No DUI NOCO for supporting After Prom! No DUI NOCO paid for several prizes to be given out at After Prom. We appreciate you for supporting our students!

During Firebird Fest, we serve lunch to all middle and high school teachers and staff! We will purchase sandwiches for all staff members, but are requesting our families to donate side items or drinks.

Teacher Appreciation Week is from May 5th through 9th. On Monday, April 29th, our High School PTC will sponsor snack boxes for teachers. Please sign up here if you would like to volunteer to help provide items for this event.

We’re thrilled to share some exciting news from our VEX Robotics State Championship Tournament! Our senior robotics team, Fractal, placed 3rd in the state for skills. During the elimination matches, Fractal entered as the number two seed, advancing to the quarterfinals.

Our high school Student Council is celebrating Prom Spirit Week with some fun activities!

A $25 fee will soon appear in Infinite Campus for all students enrolled in Aims concurrent enrollment classes. All students enrolled at Aims are charged this administrative fee each semester.

We have several important announcements for our senior class! Please review the information below carefully, as we have important updates to report.

All 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students will take the PSAT or SAT on Tuesday, April 15th, at 8:15 a.m. There are no classes after testing.

In March, the WCA Middle School Gym transformed into a vibrant concert hall as high school students presented their Spring Concert! The event featured outstanding performances from both the band and choir, showcasing a rich variety of musical styles.

Windsor Charter Academy’s Junior & Senior Prom will be held on Saturday, April 19th, at the Windsong Events Center from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. After Prom will be held at The Main Event in Windsor from 11:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.

Students at Windsor Charter Academy will be taking their Colorado Measures of Academic Success  (CMAS) tests in April! CMAS tests are meaningful and relevant assessments that support rigorous academic standards. The state’s summative tests measure students’ mastery of grade-level standards and growth over time.

Calling all parents!  Windsor Charter Academy’s freshmen, sophomores, and juniors will be taking the PSAT and SAT on April 15th. The evening before, on April 14th, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., we invite parents to write inspirational messages on each of the students’ desks. 

Are you interested in learning more about Aims Community College and what it has to offer? Join Aims faculty, staff, and students for our all-campus Discover Aims Open House on Wednesday, March 26th, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.!

On Tuesday, March 18th, at 6:30 p.m., high school music students will show off their hard work by performing musical works for each other, family, and friends. All are welcome to attend an evening of musical entertainment! Students performing will need to arrive by 6:00 p.m.

As part of our ICAP and AVID courses, we will conduct mock interviews with our sophomores on Tuesday, March 18th, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Please encourage your students to dress for success on this date!

Walk Our Way (WOW), a local non-profit organization, is hosting a free prom pop-up party for all northern Colorado high school students on March 23rd from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. The event will be held at Just for Kix, 445 Apex Drive in Windsor.

The Virtual College Counselors met with the junior class in January to introduce the college application process, and in February, they discussed how to assess college fit. Students have taken notes from the college counselors on these topics, so please check with your student to see what specific information the counselors shared.
