Teachers will be scheduling individual parent conferences. If you would like a conference with any of your students' teachers please email them by February 10th to set up a time.

On February 15th from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. we will be hosting our Middle/High School Character Education, Social-Emotional, and Mental Health Webinar! All middle and high school parents are invited to discuss a variety of important topics with our school administration and counselors.

The countdown is on! This is the last week to guarantee your student gets a yearbook. We will be ordering very few extra copies to sell at the end of the year. It is unlikely that there will be a book available for your child if you don’t order a book by January 28th.

This spring all juniors will take the in-school SAT. This is a required assessment that is paid for by the Colorado Department of Education. There is no cost to families.

Congratulations to our 1st Semester Honor Roll recipients! These students will be recognized at school and receive a coupon for a “High School Dress Day” to be used on Thursday, January 27th.

Student Council is sponsoring a winter formal dance on Saturday, February 12th from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. Tickets are $10 and can be paid at the door.

As we begin our second semester, students need to be aware of the dates that they can drop, or withdraw from a course.

We are starting the registration process for the 2022-23 school year. Mrs. Tickler and Ms. Seneca will discuss registration details during this week’s ICAP & AVID classes.

We are excited to host our Firebird Spirit Night for all high school students on Friday, January 28th from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.!

Mrs. Tickler and Ms. Seneca will begin classroom visits to start our 2022-23 course registration process during the week of January 10th. Course registration forms will be due on Tuesday, January 25th.

When students return from winter break, all 9th, 10th, and 11th graders will take the PSAT/SAT practice tests. They will take the tests on Tuesday, January 5th and Wednesday, January 6th from 8:00 to 10:30 a.m.

Let’s celebrate our teachers! On Tuesday, December 14th the High School Parent-Teacher Club (PTC) will host a holiday luncheon for our high school teachers.

Let’s support our High School MuAlpha Theta Team raise money to go to Washington D.C. this summer! MuAlpha Theta will be selling Secret Santa Candygrams from December 8th through 10th

We have exciting news for our Algebra II students! We are making a scheduling change to help better support our students. All Algebra II students will now receive small-group instruction with a math instructional aid during their PSAT/SAT Prep Course or AVID Class.

Our High School Teacher Appreciation Luncheon will be held on December 14th! If you are interested in donating an item to the luncheon, please sign up!

From November 29th through December 15th, the National Honor Society will setup a Giving tree in the High School hallways! The Giving Tree will have gift tags that can be taken by students and their families.

Parents, do you need more volunteer hours or just want to help out, now's your opportunity! Student Council will be setting up a table during finals week to help fuel students' brain power!

Windsor Charter Academy VEX Robotics teams dominated the tournament in Colorado Springs last weekend! Our three teams placed first, second, and third at the end of the qualifying rounds.
