Believe it or not, it’s time to start thinking about middle school! All current 5th grade students and their families are invited to attend our Middle School Parent Information Webinar on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at 5:30 p.m. via Zoom.

On Saturday, December 16th from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Clearview Library District, Windsor Middle School students will be reading How the Grinch Stole Christmas as part of their school’s service project!

Many of our elementary school classrooms will celebrate the holidays on Wednesday, December 20th at 1:30 p.m. in their classrooms! We have a few reminders for our families below.

Just a reminder! All items in Lost & Found will be donated on December 21st. All items including lunch boxes, jackets, sweaters, etc., need to be labeled with student names.

We want remind our families about a few important dress code rules.

The last day of the second quarter is December 21st. Parents will be able to view and print their child's second quarter report card from the Infinite Campus parent portal sin January.

Join us for our Scholastic Book Fair! The Scholastic Book Fair will be held in the elementary school library from Friday, December 1st through Thursday, December 7th. The Book Fair will be open from 8:15 a.m. through 4:00 p.m. each day, with the exception of Thursday, December 7th. On Thursday, December 7th, the Book Fair will stay open until the start of the 4th grade holiday program.

Construction on the Firebird Facility is well underway! We are excited that future generations of students will be able to use this new facility and enjoy a new CHSAA-regulated gymnasium, classrooms, and soccer field.

Windsor Charter Academy’s Elementary School Parent-Teacher Club (PTC)  is excited to host Supper with Santa! Join us for dinner, a live holiday performance by NoCo Theatrix Children’s Theater, and pictures with Santa!

The 4th grade classes will be presenting “A Colorado Christmas” on December 7th at 5:30 p.m. in the ES Gymnasium! Students should arrive in the music room at 5:15 p.m. as we will begin promptly at 5:30 p.m.

Out of respect for our surrounding businesses, we would like to remind our families to not park at the Timberline Gymnastics parking lot. In addition, please do not park in the Future Legends parking lot.

All student items including lunch boxes, jackets, sweaters, etc., need to be labeled with student names. Items are returned to students on Wednesdays if they are labeled with a name (not initials).

The weather and temperature are monitored throughout the school day to determine if extreme weather conditions are forecasted. The weather in Colorado changes frequently, so It is important that students are sent to school with appropriate clothing for cold weather conditions.

We are excited to announce that we will be partnering again with Original Works art-based fundraising!  This is a chance to remember your child’s elementary years through their art in unique ways.

We are excited to share with you that our school will be participating in “3rd Grade Bring Your Parent/Guardian to PE Week” from November 13th through 17th.

To celebrate the third grade Core Knowledge Rome Unit, we will be hosting Third Grade Roman Day Celebration to engage in a deeper understanding of Roman times. We invite parents to join this celebration with us through hands-on learning, games, and activities.

Join us on November 10th at 8:45 a.m. in the ES Gymnasium to celebrate our Veterans! Students should wear their formal dress uniform for this event.

We are excited to partner with Caring Canines to provide animal-assisted intervention for a limited number of students. Tucker will visit our building with his handler on Wednesdays from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. to meet with select students

Our drop-off and pick-up processes are running more smoothly as we settle into the school year. We have a few quick reminders for our parents.
