We are excited to announce that we will be partnering again with Original Works art-based fundraising! This is a chance to remember your child’s elementary years through their art in unique ways.

Windsor Charter Academy’s Cheer Team is hosting a Cheer Clinic for all elementary school students! Participants will learn more about becoming a Firebird cheerleader, meet our cheer coaches, learn cheer routines, and have an opportunity to cheer at a home game!

Our elementary school is excited to have a new Cheer Club! Participants will learn cheer routines and dances.

Students are able to eat breakfast at school between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m. Students eating breakfast at school need to be finished eating by 8:00 a.m. to go to their classrooms.

We are excited to start a new tradition at our elementary school - Friday Flowers for Teachers! The Windsor Charter Academy Organic Garden is overflowing with beautiful sunflowers. Last Friday, a team of parents and volunteers put together 35 beautiful mason-jar-filled flower arrangements that came from our organic garden.

Parents, please continue to send your students with a full water bottle daily. Students play hard during recess and get very thirsty. Our Health Office has a very limited supply of water bottles to offer when students forget their water.

Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held in classrooms from September 26th through October 6th. Please note that fall conferences are mandatory for all families. The goal for teachers is to have 100% parent participation.

Colorado is known for rapidly changing weather patterns! Administration monitors weather alerts for severe weather in the area. In some cases, we are unable to provide as much advance notice to our parents as we would like because the weather may change quickly.

All student items including lunch boxes, jackets, sweaters, etc., need to be labeled with student names. Items are returned to students on Fridays if they are labeled with student names (not initials).

We appreciate our parents for helping to adhere to the student dress code and helping students dress for success. Per policy, we ask that shorts, skirts, and dresses be of modest length and that jeans are free of holes and fraying.

Bird Watchers is a safety program initiated by our school to keep a watchful eye over our Firebirds. Parents/guardians are invited to volunteer to be a Bird Watcher for our school.

Windsor Charter Academy Elementary School has immediate openings for paraprofessionals.

Our school is currently looking for volunteers to coordinate Box Top and Milk Cap collections. Funds raised through these collections are used to support student and staff needs throughout the school year.

The Clearview Library Bookmobile will be at the elementary school on Tuesdays beginning August 30, 2022. The Bookmobile will be parked on Academy Court from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Please park in one of the school parking lots to visit the Bookmobile.
