Bird Watchers is a safety program initiated by our school to keep a watchful eye over our Firebirds. Bird Watchers are positive role models who provide an extra layer of support and security.

The 8 Keys of Excellence Family program deepens family relationships, opens lines of communication, and provides young people with eight proven life principles. Families can register for the 8 Keys of Excellence Family Program on their website and download the Program Packet.

Our Elementary School Art Club is hosting its first public showcase! For the entire month of October, our students’ art will be displayed at Windsor Lake Coffee.

Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held in classrooms from October 4th through October 14th. Please note that fall conferences are mandatory for all families.

Students are able to eat breakfast at school between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m. Students eating breakfast at school need to be finished eating by 8:00 a.m. to go to their classroom

October 4th through 8th is Bring Your Parent to PE Week! Each child will have the opportunity to select one parent to join them in their regularly scheduled physical education class.

All student items including lunch boxes, jackets, sweaters, etc., need to be labeled with student names. Items are returned to students on Fridays if they are labeled with student names (not initials).

Our 3rd grade students are ready to celebrate all they have learned in their Core Knowledge Unit - Investigating Physical Forces! Students will investigate how physical forces affect everyday objects.

Join us for Innovation Night on October 1st from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at our elementary school!

Are you interested in volunteering at our elementary school? We have made it easier than ever for families to sign up to volunteer! Our school now has a master Sign Up Genius Form where we will post a variety of volunteer opportunities that are available each week.

We are excited to announce that we will be partnering again with Original Works art-based fundraising! Through the program, students will create artwork that can be reproduced onto a variety of keepsake products. The products range from magnets to mugs, many as low as $6.00.

Picture Retake Day for our elementary school students will be held on Wednesday, October 19th. Please review the Dress Code Policy for information on formal dress uniform for Picture Day.

Sign up through your phone’s App Store to start supporting WCA with the digital Box Tops! If you have Box Tops clips at home you may send them to school.

We appreciate our parents for helping to adhere to the student dress code and helping students dress for success. Per policy we ask that shorts, skirts, and dresses be of modest length and that jeans are free of holes and fraying

We are proud to support our award-winning Lego Robotics Club for fourth and fifth grade students! Our teams learn about coding, robotics, team collaboration, and solving real-world problems, such as learning about water systems and how to conserve and protect our valuable resources.

Our K-5th Grade Parent Information Night will be held on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 in our elementary school classrooms. This event is for parents only.
