We invite our parent community to join us at our Middle School AVID Showcase to learn more about the program and see AVID in action in our middle school classrooms!

Each school year, middle school students are required to complete community service hours. Each grade level is required to complete a certain number of hours.

The Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast will be held on Monday, May 1st from 8:15 to 9:15 a.m. to celebrate our amazing volunteers at WCA Middle & High School.

We have several end-of-year activities and we are looking for volunteers to help us at our events!

Eighth grade families, please mark you calendars! Our 8th Grade Continuation Ceremony will take place on Wednesday, May 17th at 5:30 p.m. We are asking that parents write a few words of encouragement that will be presented to them during our rose ceremony.

Camball S., an 8th grader, competed in the MathCounts state competition. He placed 16th out of more than 750 MathCounts students from across Colorado. In Windsor Charter Academy’s long history with MathCounts, no student has placed higher than Camball in the state competition.

Our middle school students won first place at the Battle of the Books District Competition! Asher G., Josh C., Danitza H., Alaina J., and Logan S. were all members of the winning team that was led by Coach Percy

Did you know that fentanyl overdoses have risen at an alarming rate? Fentanyl is now the leading cause of death for Americans aged 18-45.

We are excited to announce that on April 27th, our middle school students will be participating in our first middle school Fun Run! The Fun Run will be held at the Future Legends Indoor Dome.

The high school Student Council is excited to host a Spirit Night for all high school and 8th grade students! This event will be held directly after the boys’ volleyball games on Tuesday, April 4th until 8:30 p.m.

Last week, Carolyn Mader, owner of Mending Hearts Counseling, presented “The Threat of Pornography: How to Speak to Your Teens About Porn.” The full recording is now available.

Students at Windsor Charter Academy will be taking their Colorado Measures of Academic Success  (CMAS) tests in April!  CMAS tests are meaningful and relevant assessments that support rigorous academic standards.

Last Saturday, Clayton M. and Tayla F., both middle school students, competed in the WSSA Colorado Open Cup Stacking Tournament in Castle Rock. Clayton placed 6th overall in his division and Tayla placed 4th!

Join us for an evening of music on Thursday, March 2nd at 5:30 p.m. for our middle school Spring Music Concert!

Our Spring Dance will be on Friday, March 17th from 3:45 to 6:00 p.m.!  Tickets will be sold for $5.00 (cash only). Students will be allowed to change after school. Dress will be "Green Out" for St. Patrick's Day.

Windsor Charter Academy’s Parent & Student Safety Committee hosts a variety of safety webinars throughout the year. On March 9th at 6:00 p.m., Carolyn Mader, owner of Mending Hearts Counseling, will be presenting “The Threat of Pornography: How to Speak to Your Teens About Porn.”

We are proud of our Windsor Charter Academy middle school students who were nominated for and selected to participate in the Combined League Middle School Honor Bands for demonstrating outstanding musicianship, playing ability, and leadership qualities.

Middle school students are invited to join the National Honor Society 3v3 Basketball Tournament! The tournament will be held on Friday, February 10th from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. There are limited spots available, so please register now!

To celebrate Valentine’s Day, students can purchase Candy Grams from National Junior Honor Society! Students can also wear Valentine’s Day colors.
