Fall Parent-Teacher Conferences are upon us! These conferences will be held Tuesday, October 12th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the school’s gymnasium. Conferences are an open house format.

All middle school students are welcome to join our Theater Club! This year, our fall musical is a modern-day telling of “The Grinch.” The musical "The Grunch" tells the story of Rudy Grunch, a grumpy middle schooler who always feels like an outsider.

The Creative Writing Club will meet twice a month to review, edit, and select submissions for the online journal, "Authors of WCA". Students will be given the opportunity to be listed as editors and editor-in-chief.

Let’s celebrate the end of summer! Friday, September 24th is Hawaiian Shirt Day. Students are asked to follow HS Dress Code for the Hawaiian shirt.

Let’s celebrate our teachers! On October 12th, the middle school Parent-Teacher Club (PTC) is hosting a Teacher Appreciation Dinner during parent-teacher conferences. If you would like to bring a dish, please sign up here!

Calling all middle school Mathletes! We welcome you to join our Math Counts Team!

Students who join Yearbook Club will have an opportunity to organize, design, and publish the middle school yearbook!

Windsor Charter Academy’s middle school students are excited to host their third quarter band and choir concert! The concert will be held on March 10th at 5:30 p.m. in the MS/HS Gymnasium.

We have completed the beginning of the iReady benchmark assessments. These results were sent home with students on Friday

Picture Retake Day for our elementary school students will be held on Wednesday, October 19th. Please review the Dress Code Policy for information on formal dress uniform for Picture Day.

Continuing this year, students with D’s or F’s or with multiple missing assignments will be required to attend after-school Academic Support on Thursdays until 4:00 p.m.

Students are welcome to wear jeans and college t-shirts every Friday! The last Friday of the month will be a Free Jeans Day.

On August 24th & 25th we will be on a testing schedule to allow our 6th - 8th grade students to take their iReady benchmark test. Testing will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 10:05 a.m.

It has been a true blessing in my life to have had the opportunity to work with the amazing Windsor Charter Academy community for the past 7 years!

Middle school students will receive their yearbook during their Advisory Class on May 19th (11:04 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.). Online students can pick up their yearbook at the middle school front office on May 19th or 20th.

The end of the school year is quickly approaching! We are making plans to assist students who can benefit from extra summer practice in order to prepare them for the next school year.

We are looking forward to the Firebird Fest on May 19th! All middle school students can partake in the festivities! Between 12:45 and 3:00 p.m., all middle school grades will rotate through the middle school Firebird Fest activities.

Our track and field and girls’ soccer seasons are in full swing!
