Come join us for an evening of spirit provided by your favorite Northern Colorado High School cheer teams! On Saturday, August 20th at 6:00 p.m. at Greeley West High School Football Field, athletes will display what they have been working on over the summer as they head into a new school year.

Our boys’ volleyball team has had a busy start to their season!

Brendan Mu. just finished up an incredible season as a CHSSA athlete on the RCS JV hockey team, where he played as a forward!

Our HS Girls’ Soccer team is led by Head Coach Sarah Drips and Assistant Coach Brett Brown. Our Firebirds take on the Stargate Charter School for our first home game on March 15th, 2022 at 4:00 p.m.

We are proud to have started our first HS Boys’ Volleyball team with the help of Head Coach Greg Perry and Assistant Coach Taylor Palazzolo. Come support your Firebirds at our first home game is on March 14th, 2022 versus Severance High School!

Preston S., 10th grade, Preston placed 3rd last weekend at the regional competition, punching his ticket to compete at the 3A Wrestling State Tournament held at Ball Arena.

Congratulations to both the girls’ and boys’ HS basketball teams on winning the Foothills League Championship! The games were held at Twin Peaks Charter Academy from February 17-19, 2022.

Last week, our Firebird community honored our seniors who play on WCA’s HS boys’ and girls’ basketball teams. During Senior Night, we recognized our graduating seniors Carson B., Brandon L., Riley U., Keanan A., Bridy S., and Maddy H.

Congratulations, Bridey S., 12th grade, for being named the Scheels Student Athlete of the Week! Bridey sustained an injury, missing a month of the season. She has come back strong and has showed grit and determination to help carry the Firebirds into the league tournament this weekend.

Congratulations to Dallin L. who was named the Scheels Student Athlete of the week! Dallin led his JV team in points and rebounds in two important games as they wrapped up their season. Great job, Dallin!
