About our Elementary School

We are excited that you’re interested in joining our Windsor Charter Academy family! Our elementary school is an award-winning tuition-free K-12 public school and a multi-year recipient of the prestigious John Irwin School of Excellence Award.

Our students:

  • Performed at the 93rd percentile in English language arts in comparison to other elementary schools in Colorado.

  • Performed at the 90th percentile in math in comparison to other elementary schools in Colorado.

Our school is a designated Core Knowledge school in the Weld RE-4 School District.  As a Core Knowledge school, our students receive a content-rich and engaging education, focusing on language arts, mathematics, science, history, geography, fine arts, and physical education. We enroll approximately 26 students per elementary school classroom.

We also believe in growing the whole child which is why we invest in character education through our Eight Keys of Excellence program and our AVID Program. We have an active and vibrant community. Get to know us by exploring more about what we offer:

Elementary School Parent Information Webinar

Dress Code

At WCA, we strive to make academics the primary focus of our students by limiting distractions as much as possible.  It is our goal that all WCA students maintain their person and clothing in a modest, clean, and orderly manner consistent with the school uniform dress code.  To learn more about what is allowed, and to see examples of approved uniforms, please visit our Elementary School Dress Code Page.

We appreciate the family-feel of Windsor Charter Academy, and doubled with their academic excellence, we don’t want to send our child anywhere else.
