Creativity is about seeing the world differently. According to Cohen, “Thomas Edison wasn’t trying to invent the light bulb. He was trying to invent the ability for the world to see in the dark.” Our world views creative thinking as an essential commodity. As educators strive to prepare students as global citizens in a dynamic world, they must focus on fostering creativity skills that equips students with the ability to be innovative. Participants in this course evaluate personal creativity fostering behaviors as educators and learn new ways to nurture creative skills and the spirit of innovation in every child.
