WCA will begin enforcing use of acceptable face coverings only:
If a student is wearing a face covering that does not meet the criteria, they will be given an alternate mask from the health office for the remainder of the day.
Face covering violations will be addressed in the same way as a dress code violation.
As a reminder, a face covering must cover the nose and mouth, be secured with ties or loop around the ears, include multiple layers of fabric, fit snugly but comfortably against the side of the face, and allow for breathing without restriction.
Gaiter-style masks will not be allowed unless they are altered to secure around the ears and are clearly multiple layers of fabric.
