It's the Party of the Year!

This is an amazing night where we come together as parents, community partners, teachers, administrators, and board members in support of our school. It's a festive and fun celebration of all that is wonderful about Windsor Charter Academy.
Our spring benefit event also raises critical funds to support our students. Over the past three years, we have raised over $150,000 for Windsor Charter Academy through these events.

2019 Spring Benefit Funding Initiatives
This year, funds raised through event sponsorships, ticket sales, auctions, and paddle call will support students in all grade levels. Specifically, we hope to make the following investments:
Athletics and extra-curricular activities (MSHS): WCA provides many opportunities for students to compete in sporting games, competitions, events and other extra-curricular activities. Our school needs two 15-passenger vans to transport students to these various activities.
Elementary school library furniture: As educators address 21st century skills of creativity and critical-thinking, it is helpful to provide collaborative learning spaces. WCA would like to purchase child-friendly learning areas for the elementary school library where students could be actively engaged in learning and research. It is important to note that the shelving will remain.
Safety for our schools: WCA’s student and school safety committee has prioritized several needs that ensure our school is safe. The first of these needs is fencing for our MSHS west perimeter. The second priority is to update the elementary school surveillance cameras. This would include the purchase and installation of 8 external cameras, 4 interior camera and video storage for review of footage.
